Plov ( pilaf) ( Tajik: палав, Uzbek: palov ), also called osh ( Tajik: ош ), is the national dish in Tajikistan, as in other countries in the region. Allow the rice to simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until all the liquid has been absorbed and the rice is cooked through.
